The end of a financial year is the perfect time to reflect on business outcomes, hurdles and achievements of the past year. We have also had the opportunity to reflect on how far ICN has travelled since inception in 1995. ICNL’s national coordination role grew steadily with a secure Government funding base prior to 2014–15, and since then has moved to a more commercialised orientation with a self-sufficiency target. Throughout this journey, the adaptability and flexibility shown by the ICNL team, ICN state offices, and Australian Industry in general has been amazing.
